An explorer is a person who investigates further after making a discovery. An explorer is someone who finds places and sees things that no-one else has seen before. An explorer must travel where no-one else has been before. Explorers want to see what is there.
In the context of miPATH the explorer is a person who travels into the realms of human potential with the purpose to see what is there and to use this new knowledge and practices to improve their own lives for the benefit of others.
Inspired by the comprehensive work developed by Manie Eagar from the Apeiron Institute, the exploration takes the form of Nine Keys (to open Nine Gates). These programs and action-based research has been applied successfully over a period of more than ten years with a variety of participants.
miPATH has now been given permission to apply and share this knowledge publicly.
Gates are useful metaphors, as a gate indicates a threshold to discovery. Gates are also employed as a device in computer gaming where participants are introduced to a new domain or level where new skills and knowledge are acquired.
Once participants gain insight over each of the Nine Gates, they are able to continue applying these in their own customized format for continued personal growth. Participants are also encouraged to develop their own gates approaches afterwards.

The Nine Gates offer the opportunity to learn how to sculpt the mind more purposefully. In ancient wisdom traditions this is called “Diamond mind” training.
Through working with deep and universal philosophical principles the Explorer program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and practices that have been applied by masters of various disciples and cultures over thousands of years. It explores the concepts of consciousness and meaningmaking from an anthropological, psychological and neurosciences perspective.
The gates serve as useful devices for navigating unknown landscapes and for tools for manifesting vision.
The approach also enables participants to integrate new knowledge faster, gather momentum and gain “unfair” advantages.
The program covers in a practical and experiential manner the following concepts:
- The principle of the Journey of the Gates (inner and external manifestation)
- Unique insights and foresights through exploring the concept of each of the Nine Gates
- Understand the link between the inner exploration and the external exploration
- Gain deeper insight into how to achieve “mind-sculpting” to overcome what is considered a “dull” mind
- Learn how the gates have served masters from old and modern times as valuable tools to create new value and knowledge that provided them with extraordinary advantage
At the end of the program you be able to
Take more control and manifest the reality you want
Apply the gates as a process to gain advantage in the world
Know skills to overcome limiting beliefs and inherit conditioning
Apply practices and knowledge that allows you to “manufacture reality” and a better life
Once you have successfully completed the program you will be able to continue to work with the gates as a lifelong habit. You will eventually gain the confidence to amend and develop your own understanding of the Nine Gates.
If you are a leader, coach or personal growth expert, you will be able to use the content and framework of the Nine Gates as a useful method and tool in your own practice and change management programs.
Experiential individual and group facilitated training and coaching:
The Journey of the Nine Gates workshops are offered over ten sessions of four hours each.
During each session participants will receive a practical assignment that has to be completed before the next session. This practical work on self is one of the differentiators of this program, as it moves discussions from theory into practice.
On-line program:
The on-line version of the Journey of the Nine Gates program is offered as ten modules.
Each module consists of a portfolio which contains explanation of concepts, as well as a practical assignment. Participants complete the assignment and send it to the miPATH facilitator or coach, who reviews and discusses it with each participant or a group of participants via a skype or web conference format. Once a component is completed, the new module will be provided to the participant.
Pre-requisite:
The Stopping and Seeing training needs to be completed before the Explorer Nine Gates training as it provides foundational skills for the journey.
