The Rainbow Diet

Food as transformative tool

you PATH to Health, a strengthsbased perspective, views food not only as a nutrition, but a way of mindful living and a path to happiness.  Food affects our thoughts, our moods and how we respond to the world. Healthy eating helps us to have the energy and vitality to realize our potential.

Healthy food and eating habits converted into mindful practice does not only result in more healthy living, but increases your ability to live a successful life.  It is amazing to learn how food can help us in our pursuit of happiness.

We do not prescribe diets. Instead we encourage and show you how to develop a joyful practice around nutrition and your relationship with  food.  We teach you seven foundational principles in our Rainbow Diet that are easy to apply, irrespective of where you travel and what your budget is.

Below is some more information about the 7 Teachings from Earth

One of the easiest principles to apply in your eating habits is to attempt eating food that has not been processed.

The more it is processed once it leaves the land, the more unhealthy it is as it is stripped of nutrients and a variety of chemicals added to it.

The benefits of focusing on “Earth food” are

  • We discover more tasty and interesting food
  • It is much healthier to eat more simple food
  • It is also much lighter on your budget.  Processed food actually cost more over time
  • Within a month or so of not eating processed food, your tastebuds will become a lot more discerning about the quality of food in your environment.
  • You will notice that food cravings disappear
  • Your new eating habit will naturally support local farmers, markets and shops as they provide the best and freshest sources of food
  • Your new lifestyle will be good for the Earth.
